The main part of the engine is the cylinder, which is the power source of the entire car.
The cylinder includes the cylinder block, intake port, oil port, exhaust port, piston, and spark plug (gasoline engine).
Gasoline and air are injected into the cylinder through the intake port and oil port, where they are thoroughly mixed. When the spark plug ignites the mixture, the mixture explodes violently, pushing the piston downward and generating power. At the same time, the enormous pressure of the exploding gas pushes open the one-way valve exhaust port, expelling the exhaust gas. Afterwards, the residual exhaust gas in the cylinder gradually cools, and the air pressure decreases. The atmospheric pressure outside the cylinder then pushes the piston upward to prepare for the next explosion. This is the basic principle. It is also used as an IT term, referring to packaged function libraries that are easy for others to call, such as search engines, graphics engines, and physics engines.
